Successful weekend in France and Germany!

First victory despite the young season for Marcel Peschges at GP Enduiest in France and another first place for Benedikt Helbig at criterium in Nürnberg, Germany.

An exciting weekend for our team from the south comes to an end. On Saturday, the GP Enduiest was on the list, a road race in Haraucourt (France) over a total of 140 km. The course had a lot of wind and fast curves as well as a 700 meter gravel section, which made for a challenging race and many defects in the field. On the start we had Mario Boll, Anton Benedix, Fred Dombrowski, Luca Brugger and Marcel Peschges. With this line-up we were able to keep up with every attack. Marcel took the chance early and tried a solo breakaway. Over the distance, individual riders managed to close the gap to him again and again, but even on the rear wheel, hardly anyone lasted longer than three or four laps. In the end, only three riders remained, Marcel did not want to make it mandatory to sprint and tightened the pace in the last lap once again, which made even the last competitor break away. With a few seconds ahead, he then arrived alone and could celebrate his victory! Congratulations Marcel!

A few hundred kilometers further east, in Nuremberg, Anna Giesen and Benedikt Helbig are delighted with their places on the podium. In a flat and very fast course, Anna proved her ability to keep up the pace and secured third place. In the men's race, Benedikt Helbig rode the required 55 kilometers in just over an hour, lapping the field in the process. First place, congratulations!
